Legal
Terms
Plain-language terms for a beta service. Kept short on purpose, you should be able to read all of it before you sign in.
The deal
hush.hanx.pro stores encrypted .env versions and syncs them between the machines you approve. The CLI does the encryption; the hosted API stores what it cannot read. During the beta the service is free and provided as-is, without warranty.
Your side of it
You keep your passphrase and your recovery key, and you keep the responsibility for them. We cannot reset either one, and we cannot recover your data for you. Use the service only for content you have the right to handle.
Beta caveats
Expect movement: commands, limits and this page can all change. Don't store credentials you can't rotate. There is no SLA. The free tier keeps 5 projects per account, 5 memberships, 10 environments per project and the last 50 versions per environment.
Fair use
Don't attack the API or other tenants, don't push past the documented rate limits, don't use it as general file storage, and don't resell it as your own product. An account that does can be suspended.
Availability and liability
We can change, pause or eventually shut the service down. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data or lost time. Export anything you care about: hush pull gives you the plaintext back, and the CLI you already have keeps working against your own deployment with --api-url.
Ending it
Delete your account whenever you want and the rows go with it. Export first, pulling a version and exporting the project key are both one command.
